As I stated a few weeks ago, I’ll be speaking at the University of Oklahoma (sponsored by the Black Student Association) next Monday. The info is a follows:
February 27th @ 7:00 PM
University of Oklahoma
Henderson-Tolson Cultural Center, Room A
Norman, OK
I graduated from OU five years ago and haven’t been back to campus in three years. I’m very curious to see how things have changed, and I’ve very eager to speak to some of the students. I’ve already got a small contingent of co-eds ready to beat me up because of the ending of Red Polka Dot.
If it weren’t such a long drive, I’d head down there and help ’em!
Have a great talk!
Curious, what will you be speaking about?
Since you are a published writer, and I ain’t, I will not say a word. But keep in mind that I did immediately email you, seriously distressed, after reading the ending of Red Polka Dot.
Best of luck with the speech, you’ll do well.
What will I be speaking about? You know, that’s a damn good question. I know I’ll be talking about the book, but I think I’m gonna leave it kinda informal and just let people fire away with questions. I’ll be sure to let y’all know how it went.
chad just saw ur book, good skills man, a long way from concrete I & II if u r ever in the chai town area holler.
